Specifies the line spacing at 7/72-inch (10.3 lpi) increments.

When the 7/72-inch line spacing control code is received, all
lines are printed at the 7/72-inch line spacing until a new line
spacing is selected or the printer is reset. The control code line
spacing selection overrides the control panel line spacing
setting, and the message display reflects the line spacing as
10.3 lines per inch.

Caution should be used when combining this control code with
other print attributes such as Elongated (Double High),
Superscript, or Subscript; overlapping lines may occur. Printing
at different horizontal and vertical densities do not overlap.

The following example illustrates 7/72-inch line spacing.

n = 1 through 85 (all others are ignored)

When the ESC A control sequence is received, all line feed
commands following an ESC 2 sequence are at

n/72-inch line

spacing until a new line spacing is selected or the printer is
reset. The control code line spacing selection overrides the
control panel line spacing setting.

Small values of

n may result in overlapping lines. Overlapping

lines may also occur if print attributes such as Elongated
(Double High), Superscript, or Subscript characters are used on
the same line. Printing at different horizontal and vertical
densities do not overlap.
