Charging the Base Battery while Operating the PC Free  
Note the following to charge the base battery while using the PC Free: 
•  The ac adapter must be connected to the PC Free 
•  The base battery power switch must be turned off 
Important:
 
The power switch on the base battery must be turned off when the PC Free is installed on the base 
battery. Otherwise, the base battery will not charge.  
1.
Connect the base battery ac adapter to 
the power connector on the base battery. 
2.
Connect the base battery to an electrical 
outlet. 
3.
Use the supplied power cord to connect 
the PC Free to the battery charger. 
4.
Turn off the power switch on the base 
battery. 
 
The red CHARGING LED on the 
battery charger lights while charging. 
When the battery is charged, the 
CHARGING LED turns off and the 
green CHARGED LED lights. 
 
5.
When the base battery is charged, turn 
on the base battery power switch and 
disconnect the charger.
