focus is not achieved.

You can set the AF illuminator to on or off. For details on AF illuminator, 
see page 60.

• When [AF illuminator] is set to [Off], the AF illuminator of the flash (sold 

separately) does not function.

Priority setup

The shutter cannot be released when the focus is not 
confirmed.

The shutter can be released even when the focus is not 
confirmed. Select this setting if the shooting opportunity 
takes precedence.

AF illuminator

Automatically fills the AF illuminator if necessary.

Does not fill the AF illuminator.
