Example 2: Displaying Photos Stored on Your Computer
By using your computer with VAIO Media as your server, you can display photos on the computer on your 
wireless frame.
 Hint
To use your computer as a server, you should connect your wireless frame to your wireless home network. For details, see 
“Connecting to Wireless Network” (page 51).
Setting up a Server
Set a computer to work as a server.
Note
  To connect a computer as a server to the same LAN as this unit, registration is required.
  Registering the computer as a server requires logging on as a user with administrator privileges, such as “Computer 
administrator.” For details, see “VAIO Media help.”

For further details on operations and the settings of “VAIO Media,” see “VAIO Media help.”
Starting VAIO Media Integrated Server

  Click [Start] on the computer, then click [All Program]-[VAIO Media]-[Server 
Administration]-[VAIO Media Server Settings].
[VAIO Media Server Settings] starts up.

  Click [VAIO Media Integrated Server], then click [Start] if [Start/Stop server] is 
in [Stop] status.
VAIO Media Integrated Server starts.
Accessing to the computer

  Click [Start] on the computer, then click [All Program]-[VAIO Media]-[Server 
Administration]-[VAIO Media Server Settings].
[VAIO Media Server Settings] starts up.

  Click [Access control settings.], then click [Allow other devices on your network 
to access this computer.].
The [IMPORTANT] window appears.

  Confirm the contents in the window, and click [OK].
