This selects the input source (

This turns the illumination lamp on/off (

Speaker output button/indicator (SPEAKERS)
This switches  speaker output on/off (

šIndicates the status of the unit’s as follows:

šSpeaker on: Blue
šSpeaker off: Off

TONE button/indicator
This turns the tone control on/off (

šIndicates the status of the unit’s as follows:

šTone control on: Blue
šTone control off: Off

Used to connect headphones.
šTurn off speaker output when using headphones 

(

To prevent hearing loss, do not raise the volume level 
excessively when using headphones.

Set this switch to MM or MC according to the type of 
cartridge used on your turntable.
