Depending on how your service provider has configured this feature, the On/Off 
switch can have up to three modes:

The Standby mode, which allows your service provider to override the On/Off 
switch setting, ensures that devices inadvertently turn the switch off can still be 
located.

On

• The device can perform a location fix

• The LED and buzzer are enabled

Off

• The device cannot perform a location fix

• The LED and buzzer are disabled

Off (Standby)

• The device can perform a location fix

• The LED and buzzer are disabled (except for the 

network alert)
