Wireless access point enclosures shall be constructed from aluminum
and capable of enclosing Cisco Aironet^, HP ProCurve‡, Foundry
IronPoint

or Enterasys RoamAbout^^ wireless access points (WAP)

and optional radio modules. The WAP shall mount in base of wireless
enclosure and include connectivity components to connect to the network.
The WAP enclosure shall have either a windowed front door or have a
metal door with knockouts for an LED window, antennas, and mounting
holes. Enclosures shall have optional accessories for mounting in a drop
ceiling for optimum wireless network coverage.

vandalism, and theft by enclosing WAPs. These
