The procedure for recording a custom main greeting is as follows:

Call the unit on LINE1. LINE1 is always used for recording names or greetings.

At the main prompt press the ‘#’ key.

Choose ‘Program’ option by pressing the 1 key.

Enter the security code by pressing the key sequence ’9' ’8’ ’3’ ’2’ ‘#’

Choose “Record Announcement" from the next menu.

Enter the password by pressing the key sequence ’6’ '2' ’6’ ’3’ ‘#’

Choose “Announcement 1“ to be recorded - Announcement 1 is the Main Greeting.

Record the Announcement and save it by following the prompts.

Exit the menu.

Choose ‘Program’ option by pressing the 1 key.

Enter the password by pressing the key sequence ’6’ ’2 ”6’ '3’ ‘#’

Choose “Record Name” from the next menu.

Enter the Pager Id (extension) that you wish to record a name for.

Record the Name and save it by following the prompts.

Exit the menu.
