PLACEMENT OF LOGS
FOR FP-42-ZC
  DX 2733
Open the carton containing the logs.  The logs are boxed separated:

WARNING:
POSITIONING OF LOGS IS VERY CRITICAL

1.  POSITION THE MOLDED PART OF LOG SET ONTO BURNER: REAR PART OF
LOGS IN REAR LOG HOLDER; FRONT PART OF LOGS IN BETWEEN FRONT TUBE
AND GRATES.
2.  PLACE LEFT AND RIGHT TOP LOGS INTO SLOTS PROVIDED ON REAR AND
FRONT
LOGS.

WHEN IGNITING THE BURNER, MAKE SURE THE FLAME IS NOT TOUCHING
EITHER SIDE OF TOP LOGS.  IF FLAME IS TOUCHING LOGS ON EITHER SIDE,
MOVE SLIGHTLY TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT TO ELIMINATE THE FLAME FROM
TOUCHING EITHER LOG.

GAS PRESSURE CHECK

Check the inlet pressure to the burner to ensure that it is as shown in the table below.
NOTE:  The pressure check point is located on the right side of the valve facing burner, for ITT,
and the left side for SIT.

The appliance and its appliance main gas valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping
system during any pressure testing of that system at test pressures in excess of 1/2 psi (3.5kPa).
The appliance must be isolated from the gas supply piping system by closing its equipment shut-
off valve during any pressure testing of the gas supply piping system at test pressures equal to or
less than 1/2 psi (3.5KpA.)
.

NOTE:  On initial installation it may be necessary to bleed out air in the gas lines.  Do  this by
holding the control knob and turning the knob to the “PILOT” position for about 30 seconds.
To check the regulator pressure, remove the pressure tag plug at the left side of the regulator facing
the heater.  The pressure should be checked with the heater burning and the control set  on high.
After measuring the pressure, replace the pressure tap plug, ensuring that there  are no leaks.
*  For the purpose of minimum input adjustment.
