Press N. Turn the control towards 
N>

A short beep sounds in the headphones/
earphones when you operate on the 
remote control.

Press VOL +/– to adjust the volume. 
Pull and turn the control towards VOL +/
– on the remote control.
The volume will be shown in the 
display. After you adjust the volume, 
push back the control.

To stop play, press x.

A long beep sounds in the headphones/
earphones when you operate on the remote 
control.

Playback starts from the point you last stopped playing. To start playback from the beginning of the 
disc, press 

N

 for 2 seconds or more on the recorder, or turn and hold the control towards 

N>

 for 

2 seconds or more on the remote control.
After you press x to stop, the recorder will automatically turn off in about 10 seconds (when using 
batteries) or about 5 minutes (when using AC power adaptor).

Find the beginning of the current 
track

Find the beginning of the next 
track

>. Turn the control towards N> on the remote 
control. (Two short beeps)

Go backwards while playing

Press and hold .. Turn and hold the control 
towards . on the remote control.

Go forward while playing

Press and hold >. Turn and hold the control 
towards N> on the remote control.

Pause

X (Continuous short beeps)
Press X again to resume play.

Remove the MD

x and open the lid.

If you press . during the first track of the disc, the recorder goes to the beginning of the last track 
on the disc.

If you press > during the last track of the disc, the recorder goes to the beginning of the first track 
on the disc.
