Velocity Range - 
Velocity exceeds 
programmed  limits 
(Velocity limit is 
programmed using 
the Service Menu 
Error Limits option

transducer spacing.

Make sure flow rate is within 
±12m/s (±40 ft/s). Check 
programming and transducer 
spacing. If programmed value 
is outside of limit, change the 
limits as described in Chapter 8 
on page 184. See Flowcell Prob-
lems on page 208 and Trans-
ducer Problems on page 210.

Signal Quality

If too high - electronic 
failure. 
If too low - flowcell, 
electrical problem.

Check for source of electrical 
interference. Check electronics 
with a test flowcell. If unit still 
fails to operate, contact the 
factory

Excessive particles or 
bubbles present in fluid. 
A lot of second phase 
present
