Getting started
Number of images and battery 
life that can be recorded/
viewed
The tables show the approximate number 
of images and the battery life that can be 
recorded/viewed when you shoot images in 
normal mode with a fully charged battery 
pack (supplied) at a temperature of 25°C 
(77°F). The numbers of images that can 
be recorded or viewed take into account 
changing the “Memory Stick Duo” as 
necessary. Note that the actual numbers 
may be less than indicated depending on 
the conditions of use.
•  The battery capacity decreases as the number 
of uses increases and over time (page 119).

– The flash is used
– The camera has been turned on and off many 
times
– The zoom is used frequently

Setup screen
– [AF Mode] is set to [Monitor] on the Setup 
screen
– The battery power is low
