About the images shot in [Advanced]
When the camera recognizes difficult-to-shoot scenes such as   (Twilight), 
 (Twilight 
Portrait), 
 (Twilight using a tripod),   (Backlight) or 
 (Backlight Portrait), it shoots 
two images with the different effects set as follows.
You can select your favorite one after shooting.
* Flash is used only in [Auto] mode.

Shot in Slow Synchro mode
Shot with the sensitivity increased to reduce blur
Shot in Slow Synchro mode 
using the face most 
illuminated by the flash as 
the reference
Shot with the sensitivity increased using the face

What is the Anti Blink function?
 When set to [Advanced] and the camera recognizes 
(Portrait), the camera automatically 
shoots an additional image*. The image in which the subject’s eyes are open is selected and 
recorded automatically. If eyes are closed in both images, the message “Blinked eye 
detected” is displayed and only the first image is recorded.
* Except when using Flash On mode or slow shutter mode.
