Transformer isolated interface between a 

Hi-Z  instrument  output  or  speaker  level 

output  and  a  balanced  Lo-Z  microphone 

input.   Ground lift, loop-thru and pad switch.  

Receives  a  Hi-Z  signal  via  a  1/4”  Phone 

Plug and sends a Lo-Z mic level signal via a 

male XLR 3-pin.

Split one mic signal into two.  One XLR type 

3-pin male input connector, via an isolation 

transformer, split to two XLR type 3-pin female 

output connector.

This Audio Cable Tester tests for shorts, opens 

and correct phase on any cable terminated 

with XLRs, 1/4” mono/stereo or RCA connec-

tors.  Test  microphone, speaker, patch and 

instrument cables.

2 Channel Hum Eliminator prevents AC hum 

from being picked up by your sound system.  

Converts unbalanced signals to balanced.

Takes the stereo output from a tape or 

CD player and combines the signal for a mono 

mic level feed to a standard microphone input.  

Left/right  or  track/voice  volume  controls.    The 

director can cue tape/CD deck on stage and set 

volume as needed.

TAP directly into a speaker line, parallel jack on 

monitor  speakers,  for  a  separate  headphone 

monitor with personal volume control.  No batteries 

required.  Draws about 1/10 watt, or 10 units will 

use about 1 watt of amplifier power.  Supplied with 

belt-clip.  The PM52 is available with the Broadcast 

Style  Earset  which  provides  an  inconspicuous 

listening  device  using  a  clear  plastic  tube  and 

Telethin driver.

9-48VDC,  4  channels,  115v AC  source.   The 

CP8506 provides 48V phantom power for up to 

four  microphones.  It  is  a  line-powered  device 

that allows  the use  of  remote-powered micro-

phones with systems that do not supply phantom 

power.
