Select the “CDR” input. Be sure to put the CD recorder in stop mode.
1 Load the CD-RW to be unfinalized in the CD recorder.

2 Press the ERASE key to select "Unfinalize Set?".
(Remote only)
3 Press the SET key.
÷ Ensure that the disc has no scratch or dirt on the surface.
÷ The "FINALIZED CD-RW" indicator should light. If the "CD-
RW" indicator lights, the disc is not a finalized disc.
Unfinalizing a CD-RW (UNFINALIZE)
÷ To abort unfinalization, press the ERASE key or 7 STOP key.
4 Press the ENTER key to start unfinalization.

Unfinalization returns a finalized CD-RW to the status before finalization so that additional recording or rewriting
is possible. Unfinalization cannot be applied to the CD-R discs.
