Connect the red wire to the 
factory Accessory or Ignition 
wire, which receives power 
when the key is turned on.

Connect the black wire to the factory ground wire. In some vehicles 

,

a factory ground wire is not provided  in which case you must locate 
a (clean, unpainted) metal part of the dash, and secure the ground
wire with a "ring" terminal and a sheet metal screw. 

Positive (+) 12VDC output when the head unit is turned on. 
Connect the blue wire to a motorized antenna or to an amplifier.

Connect to an optional 
amplifier for system 
expansion

Violet (+)

Connect to portable devices such 
as a Walkman or CD/MP3 player.

Connect to optional subwoofer amplifier
for system expansion.

CD CHANGER CONNECTOR 
Connect to optional CD Changer.  

Connect to portable devices such as a 
Walkman type device or satellite radio.

Connect the yellow wire to
the  battery or 12 volt power
source that is always live.
The radio will not work if 
this wire is not connected.
