¶ REC – lights when recording to tape

Timer – lights when either the record timer or the
wake up timer has been set

3 – lights when the current tape direction is forwards

Tape I, II – indicates which tape deck is currently
selected

2 – lights when the current tape direction is reverse

Disc function – lights when the function is set to
CD/DVD/Video CD

3 – lights when a disc is playing

ASES – lights during automatic recording of a CD

Angle – lights during scenes on DVD discs that are
recorded with multiple camera angles

[RPT (-1)] – highlights during repeat play mode
(

-1 lights when in single track repeat mode)

[PGM] – highlights during program playback mode

[RDM] – highlights during random playback mode

LAST MEMO – lights when a resume playback
point was memorized for the loaded disc

96kHz – lights when a DVD disc is playing that
contains 96kHz audio

CONDITION – lights when a DVD disc is loaded
that has had preferences set for language, screen, etc.

DOLBY DIGITAL – lights when a Dolby Digital
DVD disc is playing

[EQ] – highlights when EQ is active

[SURR.] – highlights when zoom surround is active

[P.BASS] – highlights when P.Bass is active

B.B. – lights when Bass Blaster is switched on

Sleep timer – lights when sleep timer has been set

FM mono – lights when the tuner is set to mono FM
mode using the remote’s 

 button

FM stereo – lights when the tuner is receiving a
stereo FM broadcast in auto stereo mode

Beat cut 2 indicator – lights when beat cut is
switched on for recording AM broadcasts to tape

Tuned indicator – lights when the tuner is
receiving a broadcast

2NR – lights when Dolby Noise Reduction is
switched on
