While receiving, the meter serves as an S-meter to 
measure and display the received signal strength.  
While transmitting, it serves as a power meter plus an 
ALC meter, an SWR meter, or a Speech Processor 
compression meter.  While adjusting the IF fi lter 
bandwidth, the meter displays an adjustment state 
{page 12}.

Displays the operating mode (USB, LSB, FM, AM,
