Setting up chime paging over loudspeakers

6. On the Zone 1 row, type

Men’s Department

in the Location field.

Give each zone a descriptive name so you can easily remember the
corresponding physical location.

7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 for zones 2 and 3.

8. In the ALL row, type

in the Code Calling — TAC field and

in the

Code Calling — COR field.

By completing this row, you allow users to page all zones at once. You do
not have to assign a port to this row.

9. Press

ENTER

to save your changes.

To assign chime codes to individual extensions:

1. Type

change paging code-calling-ids

and press

RETURN

The

Code Calling IDs

screen appears.

2. Type the first extension,

2130

, in the Ext field for Id 111.

Each code Id defines a unique series of chimes.

3. Assign chime codes to the remaining extensions by typing an extension

number on the line following each code Id.

You can assign chime codes to as many as 125 extensions.

4. Press

ENTER

to save your changes.
