To monitor the installation with Solution-Pac
software, you have to connect one COM port
of the card to the monitoring system (Fig. 5).
The communication cable is supplied with
the UPS.

To use UPS

control (Fig. 6), the connection

must be carried out with the communication
cable supplied with UPS

control (see its

User Manual).

The green light on the communication card
operates as follows :

◗

 flashes once every second during the start-

up phase,

◗

 flashes more rapidly during initialization of

the dialogue on the UPS BUS,

◗

  stays lighting during database processing,

◗

  and then flashes at a rate corresponding

to the flow of data on the UPS BUS.

Then, the 2 COM ports are available and
can be used simultaneously.

Same kind of connections are to be done in
case of using a MultiSlot module.
