Value may be 00 through FF hexadecimal; 
factory-default settings produce a value of 40 
hexadecimal.

Comments:

In the 8400B Plus Data Module, bits 2, 4, 5, and 6 will 
be set by the appropriate commands. However, there 
will be no other effect. Bits 0, 1, and 3 will always be 0.
