Printer Error Messages

CLOSE AREA 5

The Area 5 Access
Cover is open.

Close the Area 5 Access Cover.

CLOSE DUPLEX
UNIT/KIT

The Duplex Unit/Kit is
open.

Close the Duplex Unit/Kit.

CLOSE FRONT
COVER

The Front Cover is open. Close the Front Cover.

CLOSE PAPER
TRAY 1

Paper Tray 1 is open.

Close the Paper Tray 1.

CLOSE PAPER
TRAY 2

Paper Tray 2 is open.

Close the Paper Tray 2.

CLOSE PAPER
TRAY 3

Paper Tray 3 is open.

Close the Paper Tray 3.

CYAN TONER
LOW

The Cyan Toner
Cartridge is low.

When prompted, replace the Cyan
Toner Cartridge.

EMPTY TOP TRAY

The Top Tray is full, or
contains unusable
copies.

Remove the copies from the Top
Tray.

INSTALL BLACK
TONER
CARTRIDGE

The Black Toner
Cartridge is empty.

Replace the Black Toner Cartridge.

INSTALL
PRINT/COPY
CARTRIDGE

The Print/Copy Cartridge
has failed or reached
end-of-life.

Replace the Print/Copy Cartridge.

INSTALL CYAN
TONER
CARTRIDGE

The Cyan Toner
Cartridge is empty

Replace the Cyan Toner Cartridge.

INSTALL
MAGENTA TONER
DARTRIDGE

The Magenta Toner
Cartridge is empty

Replace the Magenta Toner
Cartridge.

INSTALL WASTE
CONTAINER

The Toner Waste
Container is not in the
Printer, or is not pushed
in all the way.

Ensure that the Toner Waste
Container is installed and pushed all
the way into the Printer.

INSTALL TONER
WASTE
CONTAINER

The Toner Waste
Container is Full.

Replace the Toner Waste Container.
