The MegaRAID SATA 300-8XLP management
software suite consists of a complete set of
tools including two BIOS-level utilities
(MegaRAID BIOS Configuration Utility and
WebBIOS), character-based MegaManager,
and graphically powered Power Console
Plus (PCP). This selection of powerful RAID
management tools provides the capability
to efficiently configure, monitor, and
manage RAID systems locally or over a
network.
The MegaRAID SATA 300-8XLP management
software suite consists of a complete set of
tools including two BIOS-level utilities
(MegaRAID BIOS Configuration Utility and
WebBIOS), character-based MegaManager,
and graphically powered Power Console
Plus (PCP). This selection of powerful RAID
management tools provides the capability
to efficiently configure, monitor, and
manage RAID systems locally or over a

The MegaRAID LSIiBBU01 is a battery-
backup module that protects the integrity of
the cached data on a MegaRAID controller
by providing backup power if there is a
complete AC power failure or a brief power
outage. The LSI Logic MegaRAID battery
backup units provide an inexpensive
alternative to using an Uninterruptible
Power Supply (UPS).
