The

setting defines the amount of time the printer must wait before trans-

mitting meaningful infrared data to the host computer, as well as the amount of time the
printer requests the host computer to wait before it transmits infrared data.

Select

to let the printer automatically set the

value during a power on

reset to maximize link performance.

In most cases,

is the recommended setting. If you have trouble printing using the

infrared port, selecting a high

, may resolve the problem.

set during a power on reset. However, if your printer is situated in a bright or highly reflective
