Chapter 11: Memory and Option Cards

Before installing an option card, follow the steps under
“Accessing the Printer System Board” on page 201.

The option card is

easily damaged by static elec-
tricity. Touch something metal
before you touch the card.

To install a hard disk option card, optional internal print
server, Tri-Port interface option card, or parallel/USB
interface option card:

Follow the steps under “Removing an Option
Card” on page 219 if you need to remove an option
card before installing another one. Otherwise, go
to step 3.
