Installing an expansion card
This section explains how to install an expansion card and a second CrossFire-
Ready graphic card.

3 PCI Express x16 slots compatible with PCIE 2.0 specification, supports CrossFire

The mazarine PCIE x16 (PCI_EX1, 3, 5) slot supports PCIE x16 speed

The blue PCIE x16 (PCI_EX2, 4) slot supports PCIE x8 speed

If you intend to install three expansion cards into PCIE x16 slots, these two
PCIE x16 lanes will auto arrange from x16/ x0 to x8/ x8

If you intend to install only one expansion card, make sure thatthe
expansion card is installed on the mazarine PCIE x16 slot(PCI_EX1)

To install an expansion card:

Perform the preinstallation instructions described on page 48.

If necessary, remove any cables that prevent access to the processor

Locate an empty expansion slot that is compatible with the specification of

Press the release latch of the slot cover opposite the selected expansion
