Do not cut entry holes for conduit while the access plates are still set on the top of the 

Liebert FS cabinet. Remove the access plates from the cable-access areas in the top of the 

Liebert FS cabinet prior to cutting entry holes in them.

After reinstalling access plates, be certain that no foreign matter (metal shavings, insulation 

or wire fragments, etc.) remains inside the Liebert FS. Likewise, be certain to block any 

“extra holes” in the plates through which foreign matter (or rodents) could later enter the 

Liebert FS.

The instructions for installation of DC Power AND Status/Control connections vary according 

to the type of UPS interconnection kit that is integrated into your Liebert FS unit.
