Ê

Remove the four screws (see circles) to remove the drive frames.

Ê

Put the old optical drive aside.

Ê

Fasten the drive frames at the new optical drive with the four supplied screws 
(see circles).

Slide the optical drive into the bay until it clicks into place.

Connect the SATA and the power cable on the back of the optical drive.
