Features
Your energy efficient surge protector is specifically designed to fit within your
home theater setup. You can conveniently control the on/off of your devices in
either zone 1 or zone 2 outlets with your remote control. When switched to
the off position, it eliminates the consumption of the stand-by power to these
outlets, bringing energy savings to your fingertips.
Zone 1 & 2 outlets group your devices by usage.
Always on outlets remain on even when other outlets are switched off –
these are ideal for devices which have volatile memory and require constant
power. (i.e. cable modems, DVRs , set top boxes, etc)
Remote control turns your devices on/off in zone 1 & zone 2 with the touch
of a button.
Cable management clips help eliminate cable clutter.
LED indicators on the front of the unit provide worry-free protection and
show that your surge protector functions properly.
Grounded – (green) shows that the outlets in your surge protector are
properly grounded.
Protecting – (red) shows that your surge protector is actively protecting
Protecting – (red) shows that your surge protector is actively protecting
your devices.
Zone 1 & Zone 2 – (green) lights to show that the group of outlets have

Instructions for changing the remote control

Step 1 - Turn the unit over and slide open the battery compartment cover.
Step 2 - Remove and dispose of the old battery properly. Do not throw the old

cell battery.
NOTE: The remote control with this unit operates on either channel A or channel B frequency. If you have purchased
more than one unit, make sure you have two different frequencies (A and B) as indicated by stickers on the bottom of
the unit and on the packaging.
