Removing the IDE Drive Bay
1.
Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this chapter.
2.
Remove the side cover.
3.
Disconnect the power and signal cables from any drives in the bay.
4.
Remove and save the two screws at the top of the bay.

Remove and save the screw in the flange at the bottom of the drive bay (see Figure 8, A).
6.
Push the drive bay up and pull it out of the chassis. Do not swing it on its hinges, as the flange
may get caught in the fans mounted on the hot-swap bay.
