Intel® RAID Controller SRCSAS18E User’s Guide
Electrical Characteristics
This section provides the power requirements for the RAID Controller SRCSAS18Es.
Table 7 lists the maximum power requirements.
Thermal and Atmospheric Characteristics
For the Intel
®
RAID Controller SRCSAS18E, the thermal and atmospheric characteristics
are:
• Relative humidity range: 5% to 90% non-condensing
• Maximum dew point temperature: 32
  C
• Airflow must be at least 300 linear feet per minute (LFPM) to avoid operating the
80333 processor above the maximum ambient temperature
The following parameters define the storage and transit environment for the RAID
Controller SRCSAS18E:
• Temperature range:
  40   C to +105   C (dry bulb)
Note: The maximum operating temperature decreases to +45
  C when the Intel
®

RAID Portable Cache Module 2 battery backup unit is installed.
• Relative humidity range: 5% to 90% non-condensing
Note: The maximum operating temperature decreases to +45
  C when the Intel
®

RAID Portable Cache Module 2 battery backup unit is installed.
Safety Characteristics
The RAID Controller SRCSAS18E meets or exceeds the requirements of UL
flammability rating 94 V0. Each bare board is also marked with the supplier name or
trademark, type, and UL flammability rating. For the boards installed in a PCI bus slot, all
voltages are lower than the SELV 42.4 V limit.
