2. FireWire (IEEE 1394) connection

a. for mini FireWire (IEEE 1394)

♦ Turn on power to your computer.

♦ Connect the 4-pin mini FireWire cable to the mini FireWire

port on the CD-RW drive.

♦ Connect the other end of the cable (6-pin) to the FireWire port

to your computer.

b. for FireWire (IEEE 1394)

♦ Turn on power to your computer.

♦ Connect the 6-pin FireWire cable to the FireWire port on the

CD-RW drive.
