Highlights
The Netopia IDSL DSU family allows a
business to easily and cost-effectively
migrate to IDSL from any leased line
connection that uses a V.35 interface
router, such as T1 or DDS.
As a technology, IDSL is very flexible and
allows service providers to offer DSL
service to customers in locations where
line conditions don’t qualify for higher
speed SDSL service.
The Netopia D3232 IDSL DSU can be
configured to connect from one to four
IDSL lines using DSL bonding (IMUX) to
aggregate bandwidth up to 576 Kbps. Each
WAN port can support two IDSL lines by
using an included 2-to-1 IDSL connection
cable.
The Netopia IDSL DSU features the unique
ability to sense the connection type (Frame
Relay or Bridged 1483) and automatically
configure itself for use as a DSU or
Ethernet bridge.
In intelligent bridge mode, Netopia D3232
offers packet filtering for enhanced security
and business-class management features
including Telnet and SNMP available locally
or remotely.
