Connect the power supply cable (page 14) and turn 

on  the  LaCie  Big  Disk  Extreme+  by  flipping  the 

power switch to ON or AUTO (drive powers on/hi-

bernates automatically).

Connect the FireWire 400 cable into the FireWire 

400 port on the back of the LaCie Big Disk 

Extreme+ (A).

Attach the other end of the interface cable to an 

available FireWire 400 port on your computer (B).
