Setting the Self-Timer

 

Use the self-timer to set a delay between the time the shutter button is pressed and the
time the image is captured.

Turn the Mode dial to Auto  

 or Manual 

 mode.

Press the SELF-TIMER 

 button (

) to cycle between the settings.

Make sure the self-timer icon 

 (2 seconds) or 

 (10 seconds) appears on

the LCD screen, then press the shutter button.

The self-timer LED at the front of the camera flashes red if the flash is turned
on. The LED flashes green if the flash is turned off.

Press 

 to cancel the self-timer at any time.

Turns self-timer off.

Two seconds. Press       once.

Ten seconds. Press       again.

The self-timer setting appears on
the LCD screen.
