Planning a route
1. Tap the screen to open the Main Menu.
2. Tap Plan route.
You are asked if you want to leave from where you are.
Tap YES to plan a route from your current location. You will probably plan
most of your routes this way.
Tap NO to select another starting point. You might decide to do this so you
can view the route before you intend to start travelling.
You can select your destination in different ways.
In this example, we'll enter an address.
3. Tap Address.
4. Start to type the name of the town and tap on the name when it appears in
the list.
Tip
: When you plan a route for the first time you are asked to select the coun-
try or state. Your choice is saved and used for all future routes. You can
change this setting by tapping on the flag and selecting a new coutry or state.
5. Enter the street name in the same way and then enter the house number.
Tip
: The name at the top of the list is a city/town centre. Instead of entering
the street name and house number, you can tap the name at the top of the list
to set the address as the town centre.
The route is planned and a summary of the route is shown.
