Connecting to Other AV Device
Use the AV input/output cable (provided) or S-video cable (generally available) to con-
nect the DVD camcorder to other AV device as follows:
Cautions
• Be sure to turn off this DVD camcorder and any other devices before connecting them.
• When the AV input/output cable and S-video cable are connected simultaneously, the video input from
the S-video cable has priority.
• In case of camera recording with this DVD camcorder, do not connect the AV input/output cable or S-
video cable to the output jacks of any other device: If you do this, sound from the other device may
leak to this DVD camcorder.
• If you use a Hitachi VCR, it will be operated by the remote control provided with the DVD camcorder.
When recording an image from a Hitachi VCR, change the remote control code of the VCR to other than
"VCR2".
• You cannot record a movie or still without inputting an image.
