Com2Power – COM2 Power Mode
The Com2Power parameter controls whether the TE applies voltage to communications port
number 2 (COM2). If the hardware does not have the ability to power a particular port, this setting
is ignored.
Note:
This parameter setting has no effect on the current settings of COM2 baud rate, data
bits, parity, stop bits, half duplex, software flow control (Xon), hardware flow control,
time out, or pass termination character.
Options
Valid options:
Off, On
Default setting:
On
Access Level
Parameter may only be modified by a user with an access level of 2 or 3.
BarcodePrefix – Barcode Prefix in Hex
Function
The BarcodePrefix parameter enables the appending of a prefix character to a barcode scan. This
character is denoted by its 2 digit hex value in the ASCII set. Addition of the prefix is done prior
to the detection of barkeys. Excluded values must not be used.
Example
Set BarcodePrefix to 5c (the ASCII forward slash ‘\’) and BarcodeSuffix to 2f (the ASCII back
slash ‘/’). A barcode symbol is scanned with the data “12345”. LDS Plus will attempt to enter the
data “\12345/” into the Compose buffer.
