Control Character and Automatic Transmit Buffer Length
You can change the automatic transmit buffer length to cause the DOS terminal to automatically
transmit when a barcode scan or auxiliary input fills a predetermined character position. The
minimum buffer length that can be set is 0 (with @, 0x40) and the maximum buffer length that
can be set is 496 (with ~, 0x7E).
transmit when a barcode scan or auxiliary input fills a predetermined character position. The
minimum buffer length that can be set is 0 (with @, 0x40) and the maximum buffer length that
can be set is 496 (with ~, 0x7E).
Rule: The operator must scan data or initiate RS-232 input for automatic
transmission to occur.
For example:
This message uses one of the ATBL control characters (I) to set the automatic transmit buffer
length in the DOS terminal to 40:

Forced ATBL Control Characters
As with all automatic transmit buffer length changes, you must select the appropriate control
character and a buffer length character to enable you to specify the automatic transmit buffer
length.
