Establishing an ActiveSync Connection

Step 2: Install Microsoft ActiveSync
ActiveSync version 3.7 (or higher) must be resident on the host (desktop/laptop) computer.
ActiveSync is available from the Microsoft website. Follow their instructions to locate, download
and install ActiveSync on your desktop computer.

When the ActiveSync installation is completed, you may attach the configuration cable. Attach
the 9 pin D connector to the HX1. Attach the USB connector to a USB port on your PC.
