When there is a new incoming message while you are in-call, the phone will prompt you with a

New SMS received prompt.

This operation refers to Section 3.3, with the difference of when you answer a new call, the old

one will be placed on hold, press

to switch between the two calls.

You can make a new call while in-call. While calling, press

and choose new call option from

the menu, then enter the number and press

or

to dial. An easier method is to enter the

telephone number by pressing number keys directly while in-call, and pressing

to make a

new call.
