6400 TCP/IP Client Bar Code

Scanning

Required Hardware

Scanners enable your 6400 computer to read and interpret

bar codes. You can order an integrated scanner as part of

your 6400 computer, or you can attach a tethered 5Ćvolt bar

code scanner to it. Contact your Sales Representative for

scanner ordering information.

Integrated Scanner

If you ordered a 6400 computer with an internal integrated

scanner, you can scan data by pointing the top of your 6400

computer at the bar code and pressing the [SCAN] key. A

scanning handle is optional.
