Parity provides a means of checking character bit patterns for validity. The imager can
be configured to operate under Mark, Space, Odd, Even, or No (None) parity options.
The host terminal must be set up for the same parity as the imager to ensure reliable
communication.

In the Communication tab of Visual Menu, choose the parity setting you want. Click the

Write Settings to Device button (

) to send the new setting to the imager.
