This section describes the installation procedures for Windows 3.1
and its device drivers.

 Overall Procedure

Have the installation packages for DOS and Windows 3.1 in
hand.

Back up your software and personal data files on the hard disk.

Create the installation diskette of the device drivers using the
Diskette Factory program. You need to create at least the
following device driver diskettes:

Install DOS and its device drivers.

Installing Software for

PC-DOS 7.0 or MS-DOS 6.2

Do not install the PC Card support software for DOS
(CardSoft).

Install Windows 3.1 (with Advanced Power Management) and
the device driver diskettes.
