IBM wordpad z50 User Guide

To attach your WorkPad z50 to the notebook PC or desktop PC
through the cradle, do as follows:

Connect the AC Adapter to the cradle

power cord to the AC Adapter

Press the power button to put your WorkPad z50 into suspend
mode.

With the serial cable, connect the cradle to your notebook PC or
desktop PC.

Serial connector

Note:  If you attach the cradle to the WorkPad z50, you cannot use the dry

cell battery case at the same time.

Note:  Make sure to connect the serial connector with the IBM logo

facing up.
