satellite data (Fig. 6, previous page).
noTE: You MUST be outdoors with an unobstructed view of the sky for the SkyCad-
die to receive GPS satellite signals. It may take slightly longer for the SkyCaddie
to acquire a signal when you turn it on after it has been off for 4 or more hours or
if you have traveled more than 100 miles from the last location where you used
your SkyCaddie.
2.2 demo/Simulation Mode
Demo Mode allows you to explore the SkyCaddie’s functionality without using
the GPS signal (such as indoor use). In Demo Mode, all distances are calculated
from the back tee of each hole for the selected course.
To view a course in Demo Mode:
• Select a course and press

To turn Demo Mode on or off:
• Press the Menu key.

If you do not press any keys after selecting
Start and the SkyCaddie has
