AE-L button
Focus check button
The exposure remains locked while this button is pressed.
Photometry selector dial
Pressing this button enlarges the 
central portion of the screen. Use 
this to focus the image precisely.
EVF/LCD (monitor selector) button
Pressing the “EVF/LCD” button toggles 
between the viewfinder (EVF) and the LCD 
monitor. Use whichever mode is best suited 
to your shot.
Selecting light metering method.
Photo mode      button
Photography: Select the quality 
mode, sensitivity and FinePix 
COLOR settings.
Playback: Specify the print 
order (DPOF) settings.
DISP/BACK button
DISP: Press this button to select 
the screen display.
BACK:  Press this button to stop 
a procedure midway through.
ab button
“T (a)” button: Selecting Digital 
zoom mode (2
×).
“W ()” button: Canceling the 
Digital zoom mode.
Diopter adjustment dial
Makes the image in the 
viewfinder easier to see. Set 
the dial to the position where 
the AF frame appears 
sharpest.
