Visible only if a microphone is connected to iPod nano, or if there 
are voice memo recordings on iPod nano.

Lists iTunes U collections synced from your iTunes library (it 
doesn’t appear, if you have no collections).

Lists audiobooks synced from your iTunes library (it doesn’t 
appear, if you have no audiobooks).

You can arrange the icons on your Home screen in any order you want. See 
“Customizing the Home Screen” on page 18.

Status Icons

The icons in the status bar at the top of the screen give information about iPod nano:

Shows that a song, podcast, audiobook, or iTunes U episode is playing.

Shows that a song, podcast, audiobook, or iTunes U episode is paused.

Shows that the radio is playing.

Shows that the pedometer is turned on and counting steps.

Shows the battery level or charging status.
