compression throughput and tape capacity depends on the type of data.

The Spectra T50 library can be configured with a maximum of two full-height LTO-4 
4-Gb SCSI or Fibre Channel drives. 

Full-height LTO-4 4-Gb Fibre Channel drives will try to connect at 4Gb, but will 
auto-negotiate down to 2Gb or 1Gb, depending on the interface used.
