Use File Type to specify what type of file to upload:

. Specify Archive (STK) code to retrieve from the operational flash.

. Specify CLI Banner to retrieve the CLI banner file.

. Specify configuration in text mode to retrieve the stored 

configuration.

. Specify Script file to retrieve the stored configuration.

. Specify Error log to retrieve the system error (persistent) log, sometimes 

referred to as the event log.

. Specify Trap log to retrieve the system trap records. 

. Specify Buffered Log to retrieve the system buffered (in-memory) log. 

. Specify Tech Support to retrieve the switch information needed for 

trouble-shooting.

. Specify Crash Log to retrieve the crash logs.

The factory default is Archive.

The Image Name field is only visible when the selected File Type is Archive.

If you are uploading a switch image (Archive), use the Image Name list to select the 
software image on the switch to upload to the management system:

 Select image1 to upload image1. 

. Select image2 to upload image2.

Use Transfer Mode to specify what protocol to use to transfer the file:

. Trivial File Transfer Protocol

. Secure File Transfer Protocol

. Secure Copy Protocol

. File Transfer Protocol

Use Server Address Type to specify either IPv4, IPv6, or DNS to indicate the format of the 

Server Address field. The factory default is IPv4.
